Supporting Schools

Aware of the lack of learning materials available to teachers and students, in February 2017 we delivered books and school supplies to three primary schools in Bango Farm, Adonkia. The teachers and students were thrilled to have books for children to read and study. December 2017 we delivered 19 drums of books and school supplies. The additional supplies allowed us to adopt two additional primary schools and two high schools. October 2018 we once again shipped 19 drums of books and supplies. Every year we continue to ship books. 2021 we shipped 30 drums. Many of the books will be used for our community library when it is complete, with the rest donated to schools. We continue to ship books and school supplies each year and hopefully fall 2024 into early 2025 we will stock and open our library.

We still need all types of books and school supplies for ages five to adults. This includes textbooks, dictionaries, reference books, fiction and non-fiction novels. We also need new school supplies like chalkboards, chalk, erasers, pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, bookbags, mathematical sets, rulers.
